Alex Rodriguez Is Selling His Hollywood Hills Home

Former World Series champ turned TV baseball analyst Alex Rodriguez is selling his mid-century Hollywood Hills home. Built in 1954, the home was originally part of an architectural program (Honnold & Rex Architectural Research house) which encouraged experimentation with materials and designs. The home was later redesigned and renovated by legendary designer & builder Xorin Balbes about a decade ago.

Rodriguez purchased the home from Oscar winner Meryl Streep, who is widely known as the “best actress of her generation”. Streep originally listed the Hollywood home back in 2014 for $6.75 million and was later scooped up for $4.8 Million by Rodriguez. Completely secluded and seconds to Sunset Boulevard, the modern home features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and 3,700 square feet of living space.

Inside, the architecturally striking two-story home features Italian marble floors, magnificent fireplaces, expansive glass walls, chef’s kitchen, and luxurious bathrooms. Outside, the home features a beautiful resort-like courtyard with a spa, firepit, swimming pool, spectacular seating area and amazing views of the city lights.

After finding no buyers at $6.5 million, A-Rod has lowered the price to $5.25 million. The price adjustment comes just after his recent engagement to Jennifer Lopez’s .
